-Proper pruning is an essential component of proper tree care in both residential and municipal settings.  Unfortunately, central Illinois has seen a dramatic amount of improper pruning. One of the most improper, and detrimental, practices we see is commonly called "topping".

If your trees have been previously topped, call today to set up a consultation with our Arborist.  When we are brought in early enough, we can perform certain remediation techniques to help save your tree from removal.

Please click the link below to take a look at some information from the International Society of Arboriculture regarding why topping is perhaps the most harmful tree practice known.

-Unfortunately, the time will inevitably come when it is necessary for a tree to be removed in order to protect your family and your property.  When the time comes, there are three crucial skill sets necessary to safely remove trees in technical situations.  The person responsible for removing the tree must recognize the potential structural defects of the tree, have a comprehensive knowledge of technical rope skills, and be a safe and efficient saw operator.

Our removal team has over 20 years of professional rope work and climbing experience, a comprehensive knowledge of tree hazard analysis, and over 35 years of saw operation.

If you think it's time for a tree to be removed call Aerial Arborist Solutions Inc. to ensure that it's removed in a safe, respectable, and professional manner.

Tree Risk Assessment-The ISA states that, "Tree risk assessment is a broad area of expertise that combines
many disciplines. There is a large body of scientific literature about biomechanics, wind in trees, soils, wood decay, and other topics
that relate to tree risk assessment."  All trees have a certain level of risk associated with them when they are in close proximity to where we live, work, and play.  Call today to have our ISA Certified Arborist help you determine what level of risk is acceptable for your property.

Disease & Pest Management-Disease and pest management is a skill set built over time and practice.  Our ISA Certified Arborist holds a masters degree in forestry.  If you see something happening to your trees that concerns you, give us a call today to schedule a consultation.  Proactive tree care is consistently more beneficial than reactive responses.

Cabling & Support Systems-  When you have a tree in close proximity to your house, or other high value target, contact us to discuss the practicality of a cabling or support system.  Our systems are state of the art and can help you keep a valuable tree that could otherwise pose a threat to you and your property.

Nutrient Supplements-Sometimes trees in urban/landscape settings need a little extra help.  In a forest setting, as debris (leaves, bark, twigs) fall, they decompose and re-enter the nutrient cycling process.  Unfortunately, this isn't always an option in a landscape setting.  Call us today to discuss how our nutrient supplement techniques can help keep your tree healthy.

Invasive Species Management-The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) states, "Invasive plants are introduced species that can thrive in areas beyond their natural range of dispersal. These plants are characteristically adaptable, aggressive, and have a high reproductive capacity. Their vigor combined with a lack of natural enemies often leads to outbreak populations.".

Our partnership with one of the leading invasive species technicians in the state gives us the opportunity to help you manage your property.  Invasive species can get out of hand quickly.  If you have woodlands that may be under invasive pressure, give us a call ASAP.
